Cancellations

The cancellation and refund policy at WetRentals is as follows:

  1. Host Cancellation: If a Host cancels a rental before it begins, the Renter will be refunded all payments made to WetRentals, except for the Transaction Fee and any taxes already remitted to taxing authorities.

  2. Renter Cancellation: If the Renter cancels a rental before it starts, WetRentals will provide a "Cancellation Refund" based on the Host's chosen cancellation policy, which falls into one of three categories:

    • Flexible:

      • 100% refund if canceled more than 24 hours before the rental start.

      • 50% refund if canceled within 24 hours of the rental start.

    • Moderate:

      • 100% refund if canceled more than 7 days before the rental start.

      • 75% refund if canceled less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before the rental start.

      • 50% refund if canceled less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the rental start.

    • Strict:

      • 75% refund if canceled more than 7 days before the rental start.

      • 50% refund if canceled less than 7 days but more than 48 hours before the rental start.

      • 25% refund if canceled less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the rental start.

Please keep in mind that the Transaction Fee and any applicable taxes already remitted to taxing authorities will not automatically be refunded to the Renter in case of cancellation. The specific refund amount depends on the Host's chosen cancellation policy as outlined in the Renter's separate rental agreement with the Host.
